Paranormal Activity reminds me of The Blair Witch Project it's got the same look and feel. Instead of a witch hunt. This is a ghost hunt in a private home. Katie belives that there is something in her home that has followed her all her life. Her boyfriend has a hard time beliving in the ghostly goings on. Until night after night things get out of control and more scarier. Paranormal Activity blu ray comes with two versions of the movie. The theatrical cut and the alternate ending personally I liked the alternate ending my self. You decide which is the best version of the movie. And what ever you do. Watch in the dark and don't watch it alone.

After a young, middle-class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban
house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be
demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially
while they sleep.
Paranormal Activity builds suspense all the way to the shocking ending.
Roger Ebert calls it "truly scary." Go ahead, we dare you to watch it at

The Sound: This disc is recorded in 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio. This isn't the best blu ray I've heard. Most of the sound comes from the center channel and every now and then the front speakers. Very little sound comes from the rear speakers. When ever something paranormal happens the sub woofer gets active with some very low rumbling.

Katie: Dr. Fredrichs said that it wasn't a ghost.
Micah: Well, I've been going by the evidence and I'm doin' my research
and I'm going to find out what it is.
Katie: Well, whatever it is that's following me, it doesn't feel... it
doesn't feel human. It feels like it's... it feels like a monster. I mean like,
it wants to hurt me.
Micah: Well that sounds like, actually like a demon.
Katie: Yeah, that's what he said.
Micah: Well, 'cause ghosts are spirits of human beings.
Katie: Yeah, it's definitely not human.
Micah: Then maybe you're right, which is bad 'cause demons suck.
Micah: What if we just get this Ouija board and we find
out what it wants and then we give it what it wants? Then it's gone.
The Psychic: Because what it probably wants is Katie.
Micah: I understand where you're coming from- just
remember too, that you didn't exactly warn me about this kind of stuff before we
moved in together, so I think I have a little bit of say in what we do.
Katie: I get that, but honestly what was I supposed to say? On our first
date, 'Hey, I think there's a demon that I think has been following me.'
Micah: No, but maybe on our fifteenth date, or our thirtieth date, or
when we decided to live together... that might've been a good thing to bring up.

I enjoyed this movie. It's got some good moments might make you jump in your seat. Fun to watch maybe once or twice. What I suggest that you do is rent before buying.The video of Paranormal Activity isn't the best and the surround soundtrack is worse. Lack of features and a digital copy makes this a renter not a buyer. Below is how I rate the movie 1 star for low and 5 stars for high ratings.
