Based on Escape To Witch Mountain. Disney has come up with Race To Witch Mountain. While this movie is aimed at 8 and 12 year olds. This movie has enough action, suspense, and intrigue for the whole family. I enjoyed the movie but was disappointed in the blu ray. As always the video is excellent. But the DTS HD soundtrack is not that great. And does not have a whole lot of extra features. Although this includes a standard DVD and digital copy still not a good buy. This is more of a renter than a buyer.

How Does It Look And Sound?
The Video: This disc is presented in Video codec: MPEG-4 AVC
Video resolution: 1080p. This disc has got excellent detail even in dark scenes.
Colors are sharp and crisp.
The Audio: This blu ray is presented in English 5.1 DTS HD. I am not that thrilled with this soundtack. The vocals sounds muffled and the front and rear speakers come alive ever so often. And some action from the sub.

The 3-disc Blu-ray edition of Race to Witch Mountain may look like it has a lot to offer fans of the film but, in actuality, it doesn't include anything of substantial value. You'll find a rather repetitive collection of deleted scenes with director's introductions (SD, 23 minutes), an admittedly amusing batch of bloopers (SD, 4 minutes), and an exclusive "Backstage Disney" short (HD, 8 minutes) in which Fickman reveals his film's various references to Escape to Witch Mountain and Return to Witch Mountain. For those looking for options, Disney's BD-50 disc also comes bundled with separate standard DVD and Digital Copy discs, but neither addition makes up for the set's underwhelming supplemental package. Final Thoughts
I liked the movie but the blu ray is a not all it could be. Lack of features poor soundtrack makes this a renter than a buyer. Below is how I rate the movie 1 star is the lowest 5 stars being the higest.
